· The Production Planner will be responsible for planning the production of aerospace components, assemblies, and systems. The preferred candidate is a highly motivated, results-oriented team player who performs effectively in both business planning and production environments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Generating, monitoring, and expediting production schedules

· Coordinating supply chain, inventory, and production activity

· Vetting MRP-generated production orders

· Identifying and mitigating production order material shortages/challenges

· Planning production routing, sequencing, and methods

· Executing planned production orders

· Managing production order revisions

· Preparing, evaluating and disseminating metrics, reports, procedures, and documents

· Prepare data reviews and present findings

· Present and lead weekly GEMBA meetings

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field

· Relative production planning or relative experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems

· Professional interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and balance competing priorities

· Strong analytical, reasoning and organizational skills

· Ability to problem solve in complex and ambiguous situations

· Experience working with MS Office suite

· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, parts lists, bill-of-materials (BOM) and production routings

· Fundamental knowledge of aircraft, systems and parts preferred
