Job Description

Shape the future of Tiffany & Co.'s global jewelry assortment and immerse yourself in luxury merchandising and planning. As a Planner on the Global Assortment Planning team within Supply Chain, you'll be at the forefront of maximizing sales and productivity through strategic and innovative assortment planning, blending strong product intuition with AI-driven recommendations and managing an assortment of about $200M. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, collaborative, and creatively minded with a passion for merchandising, a global perspective, and an eye toward identifying new opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Global Assortment Planning - Elevate the Tiffany & Co. Brand

  • Evaluate and set KPIs and financial framework for productive assortments leading to inventory purchases, driving the supply chain.

  • Contribute to the development of productive worldwide assortment plans for jewelry collections across all phases of the product lifecycle, ensuring seamless brand alignment across all global markets.

  • Lead data-driven assortment reviews, providing actionable recommendations at the item and store level based on in-depth analysis of sales data, forecast, productivity metrics, space optimization strategies, and brand positioning goals. Collaborate closely with regional teams and central cross-functional partners to implement these recommendations.

  • Play a pivotal role in strategic assortment optimization initiatives, leveraging both retail store clusters and predictive analytics recommendations to drive impactful results.

  • Further optimize the new assortment planning system in Anaplan, identifying future process enhancements to increase agility and efficiency.

Collaboration & Innovation - Be a Thought Leader

  • Cultivate strong, collaborative partnerships with zone counterparts, fostering open communication, transparency, and a shared vision for success. Identify and capitalize on key opportunities by drawing insights from diverse market perspectives.

  • Champion a global perspective, demonstrating a deep understanding of regional nuances and adapting assortment strategies to meet local market demands.

  • Collaborate with regional teams to develop high-impact assortment plans for new store openings and support region-specific business objectives, ensuring optimal balance between sales, productivity, and in-store space.
  • Be an integral part of upcoming new product launches, collaborating cross-functionally with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Creative Visual Merchandising teams to bring innovative concepts to life.
  • Drive efficiency and accuracy across all tasks, proactively identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and maximize team productivity. Lead projects with a positive, results-oriented mindset and a strong emphasis on innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate College degree
  • 3-5 years prior Merchandising, Buying or Planning experience, preferably with a luxury brand
  • Expertise with MS Office Suite, Excel, Power Point and Power BI.
  • Ability to learn new software with ease
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration

  • Proven project management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated agility in adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic environment

The hiring range for this position ranges from $94,000-$124,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
