Support the planning and execution of supply chain and purchasing activities by monitoring demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely material availability. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational continuity through data analysis, supplier coordination, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
About your role:
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal regulations, maintaining a disciplined and consistent approach.
Monitor and manage demand and consumption to determine purchasing requirements and place purchase orders (POs).
Generate reports and track purchase orders within SAP/ERP systems, including acknowledgments and shipment tracking.
Participate in cross-fu nctional meetings, providing insights and data related to supply and demand.
Implement sourcing strategies and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
Analyze demand variability and identify risks (shortages or excess), proposing mitigation actions.
Perform predictive demand analysis, identifying trends, seasonality, and variability to anticipate supply risks.
Define key inventory parameters (e.g., safety stock) based on consumption, lead time, and supplier reliability.
Analyze supplier performance and develop improvement plans with critical suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels, including excess and obsolete (E&O).
Track and report KPIs alongside Operations, Inventory Analysts, and cross-functional teams involved in material flow.
Perform other duties as assigned by the direct manager.
About you:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Equivalent experience in supply chain or purchasing roles may be considered.
Ensure effective communication across departments to support production and warehouse operation
Communicate effectively at managerial and corporate levels.
