The Advance Planning candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Virginia Class construction networks supporting a Project’s Integrated Master Schedule, with a primary focus on creating and updating detailed schedules in Microsoft Project. The candidate will coordinate with Lead Planners, General Foremen, and Supervisors to develop accurate and achievable detailed schedules that reflect planned work, resource needs, and production priorities. They will assess individual project schedule performance and report results to the Project Management Team while regularly monitoring construction status, attending planning and production meetings to capture changes, and incorporating approved updates necessary to maintain a valid and achievable network schedule. This candidate will be involved with the development of manufacturing and assembly plans, Virginia Class Integrated Master Schedules, and schedule‑related aspects of Electric Boat’s Earned Value Management System. The Advance Planner is a vital member of the Project Execution Team and will act as a coordinator, auditor, and implementer.
