Program Planner / SchedulerAbout the roleUGL is seeking an experienced Program Planner / Scheduler to support major maintenance programs and capital projects at Alcoa's Pinjarra Refinery.Based on site in Pinjarra, you will work closely with project and site teams to develop and maintain detailed schedules, provide project controls support, and deliver meaningful reporting that drives successful project outcomes.This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional who enjoys working across large-scale industrial projects while partnering with stakeholders to improve performance, visibility, and delivery certainty.This opportunity is offered on a casual basis with an 11-month contract, commencing immediately.What we offerOpportunity to work on major refinery maintenance and capital projects.Collaborative and supportive team environment.Complimentary salary continuance insurance.Discounted Medibank health insurance.+ More!Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, build, maintain and report on project and outage schedules using Primavera P6.Monitor schedule performance, identify deviations and work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.Produce project controls reporting including resource forecasts, critical path analysis, trends analysis and S-curve reporting.Support and maintain contract dashboards and reporting tools, including Power BI development and enhancement.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project delivery, planning processes and reporting outcomes.About youDemonstrated experience in planning, scheduling or project controls within maintenance, resources, mining or industrial environments.Strong capability using Primavera P6 and Microsoft project including resource loading and reporting.Experience developing and supporting Power BI reports and dashboards.Knowledge of project controls principles, forecasting and schedule performance analysis.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams.Why this rolePlay a key role supporting major brownfield projects at Alcoa Pinjarra.Join a collaborative team where your planning expertise directly influences project success.Expand your capabilities across project controls, Power BI reporting, scheduling, forecasting and continuous improvement.UGL Resources & Energy WestUGL provides engineering, construction, and maintenance services across industries including oil and gas, power, renewables, resources, water, defence, and telecommunications, in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
