Subsea7 have an exciting new opportunity for a Planner to become part of our UK & Global IRM team based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire on a full-time, staff basis. Driven by continued team growth, this is an opportunity to play a key role in the successful planning and delivery of complex offshore projects.
As part of our Planning resource pool, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring project plans, while collaborating closely with Project Controls and wider project teams to ensure successful project execution.
What will you be doing?
This will be a varied role but some of the main responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain project and tender schedules to support successful project delivery
- Monitor progress, identify risks and delays, and recommend recovery plans where required
- Collaborate with Project Controls, project teams, clients and subcontractors to ensure accurate planning and reporting
- Produce regular schedule updates, forecasts and progress reports for internal and client stakeholders
- Develop and maintain offshore construction schedules, incorporating vessel and subcontractor activities
- Support change management by assessing and implementing scope changes within project plans
- Perform planning analysis, scenario modelling and resource-based scheduling to optimise project performance
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of planning best practices across the business
What experience would we like you to have?

- Experience in project planning and scheduling, ideally within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Offshore, or related industries
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling software, including Microsoft Project and Primavera P6
- Experience of subsea construction planning would be advantageous
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams
- Confidence in engaging with colleagues at all levels, including senior management and key project stakeholders
- Organised, with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proactive and accountable, with a sense of ownership and commitment to delivering quality results
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced project environment
