Position: Planner

Location: San Jose Iturbide, GUA, MEX

As a Materials Planner, you will ensure accurate material planning, maintaining resilience, flexibility, and end-to-end (E2E) synchronization across the supply network and processes. You will play a key role in optimizing resources (teams and materials) to drive efficiency, responsiveness, and business growth. You will lead competitive, digital, and customer-centric planning strategies while effectively communicating with key global and local partners.

Main Responsibilities

  • E2E Planning & Standard Compliance: Maintain strong fundamentals in planning, E2E processes, and data analytics to deliver top-tier service levels. Ensure full compliance with the FP&R Production Planning Standard and foster LIFT principles ( Cultivate Trust, Committed to Impact, Create the future).

  • Capacity & Risk Analysis: Periodically analyze material supply chain capacity against demand to confirm availability, identify potential risks, and communicate them effectively. Utilize SAP and digital tools ( New Ways of Working) to anticipate supply shortages or excess inventory (R&P).

  • 100% System Driven Planning: Parametrize master data for new codes ( raw and pack, halb) and perform quarterly master data maintenance to drive optimal automated planning through SAP and digital platforms.

  • Inventory & Supplier Management: Develop and execute material inventory strategies ( raw and pack) to sustain production and service goals. Manage monthly evaluations and activities with material suppliers to secure supply, execute production plans, and minimize SLOBs/Scrap during transitions or product discontinuations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Global Supply Chain, CS&L, CBS, Procurement, Quality, Warehouse, Packaging, and Tech Transfer to align priorities, resolve material/supplier GAPs, and support the execution of New Product Introductions (NPI).

  • Physical Inventory Control: Generate the annual physical inventory calendar with specific dates for each external plant and assist in physical inventory audits at their facilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, customer service, or logistics (specifically Demand Planning or Supply Network Planning).

  • Language: Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (75% or higher) for effective collaboration with the global chain and external partners.

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge in inventory management, continuous improvement, Supply Chain, and data analysis. Proficiency or strong familiarity with SAP, APO, Sigma, Domo, G-Suite Tools (Sheets, Slides, Docs), and Digital & Analytics (AI) tools.
