Salary: £46,142 - £51,356 per annum pro rata + Market Rate Supplement £5,500 per annum pro rata
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month
Contract Type: Hybrid - Permanent (x 3 positions available)

About the role:
It’s an exciting time at Central Bedfordshire’s Housing Service.
The Planned Works Surveyor is an exciting opportunity within the Housing Directorate to ensure the delivery of capital improvements to achieve Decent Homes Standard within our housing stock of some 5,700+ homes across Central Bedfordshire.
Working within Housing Property Services, reporting to the Housing Delivery Manager (Decent Homes) the Planned Works Surveyor will support the capital investment programme, ensuring homes are safe and to meet our obligations to achieve the Decent Homes Standard within the delivery of improvements to our housing stock and contract management of workstreams.
The role is responsible for the delivery, contract management and quality assurance for improvement workstreams across our housing stock. The role requires technical experience and commercial awareness for the delivery of contracted workstreams to achieve VFM.
You will be someone who puts the customer at the heart of everything they do & embeds equality and diversity in all aspects of the Housing Services delivery.
