Planet Partner Program Regional Manager

The Planet Partner Program Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of vendor strategy, compliance execution, and financial performance of the Planet Partners program within the assigned region. This role ensures program resilience, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, cost efficiency, and operational excellence while supporting HP’s sustainability, circular economy, and ecolabel commitments.

The role requires strong cross-functional coordination with Procurement, Compliance, Finance, HP internal business, and external vendors to deliver scalable, compliant, and cost-effective program operations.


Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the vendor strategy for the region, balancing cost optimization, operational resilience, and scalability.
  • Manage vendor onboarding and ongoing performance, including outsourcing of Control Tower activities and control of the financial flows.
  • Drive vendor cost optimization initiatives, including RFQs, business awards, and renegotiations.
  • Define, manage, and maintain vendor contractual agreements and Statements of Work (SOWs), including renewals, amendments, and signature processes.
  • Ensure vendors meet ecolabel requirements (as defined by TCO and EPEAT program leads).
  • Support and manage savings projects, identifying efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure robust financial control of the regional budget, including actuals, flash forecasting, accruals, deviation analysis, and predictability.
  • Define, track, and report regional metrics and Balanced Scorecards (BSCs) to monitor performance and support data-driven decision-making.



Education & Experience Recommended

  • Recent degree or Master’s in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Typically, 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in Supply Chain or Operations.


Skills

  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-changing regulatory and operational environment.
  • Eager to learn, with a strong curiosity about new regulations, business models, digital tools, and sustainability practices.
  • Familiarity with process automation, including identifying opportunities to standardize, digitalize, and automate operational and reporting processes.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, capable of translating complex process, financial, or operational topics into actionable insights.
