High Level, Alberta

We are looking for a Planer Supervisor to join our largest sawmill, located in High Level, Alberta Our High Level Lumber Division safely and sustainably produces forest products for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of sawmill manufacturing and log quality attributes
  • The ability to find solutions and meet targets and achieve results
  • A post-secondary education related to forestry, business or engineering is a bonus.

In this role you will:

  • Demonstrate your uncompromised commitment to safety to make sure every employee goes home safe.
  • Provide meaningful feedback and support to your team and across departments to ensure results are delivered consistently.
  • Use your strong leadership, organizational, planning and communication skills to ensure that the team is engaged, meets all safety, recovery, quality, and production targets.

  • You'll earn an additional northern allowance on top of your base pay.
