Focusing solely on delivery to clients upgraded to EquatePlus, this role will involve working closely with the Head of Purchases and Operations Manager – Purchases to create streamlined and efficient processes for all purchase related activity for upgraded clients. The role provides you potential to excel in the global administration of employee share plans. Deliver operational excellence through structured, compliant, and timely execution. Contribute to the development of scalable, client-focused purchase processes. Become a trusted subject matter expert in the end-to-end share purchase lifecycle.

A role you will love

Reporting into either an Operations Manager or the Head of Purchases this role involves working on the successful delivery of all activities relating to the purchase lifecycle within an employee share plan. This includes the process of enrolment into a plan, management of plan contributions and the ultimate purchase of shares on behalf of employee plan participants across the world.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the structured planning, execution and monitoring of tasks and timely completion of all processes assigned to you in line with agreed SLAs. To include, but not limited to:

Timely processing of files relating to eligibility, enrolment and contributions activity.

Prompt collection and management of contribution related funds, maintaining strict adherence to the FCA’s CASS rules in doing so.

Timely execution of a purchase in line with the agreed purchase date agreed with corporate clients on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis.

  • Assist the Operations Manager in building, implementing and maintaining streamlined operational processes for all plan purchase activity on the EquatePlus, identifying ongoing opportunities for process improvement and ensuring we maintain strict operational discipline with minimal deviation from these processes as the functional area grows.

  • Where appropriate, develop detailed documentation with respect at to all purchase related processes and in doing so ensure continued operational control and governance over these processes.

  • Gain and maintain strong technical knowledge of all aspects of share purchase activity and provide expert advice and knowledge in your specialist area to the wider business and client base in this area.

  • Where appropriate, provide regular status updates to clients, senior management and other stakeholders with respect to purchase activity.

  • Solve a wide variety of complex customer queries and system demands providing exceptionally high standards of customer service as the subject matter expert in all aspects of the share purchase lifecycle.

What will you bring to the role?

You will bring proven experience in financial services and a strong grasp of share plan operations. Your ability to manage high-volume transactions ensures precision in complex environments. With a passion for client delivery, you champion excellence across every touchpoint.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in the financial services industry, with one years’ experience working in a share plans or financial compensation environment preferable.

  • Experience in the handling of significant transactional volume in an operational context, preferably in a complex regulatory environment.

  • Evidence of working on or closely with a project designed to radically overhaul processes and operational delivery is an advantage.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to convey and articulate ideas to a wide variety of audiences.

  • Passionate about customer delivery with evidence of championing and maintaining strong delivery to a large client and customer base.

  • Strong personal and operational organisational skills, able to manage multiple complex activities running in parallel.
