History & Social Studies 7-12 CT Educator Certification (026) is required. Applicants should possess the ability to teach high school social studies courses including American Government, U.S. History, World Regions, World History, and other electives. Salary range can be found on the Plainville Community Schools website in the EAP Contract.

Consideration shall be given to those teachers who have expressed a desire to be transferred to a vacant position pursuant to Subsection A (2), above. The administration shall give careful consideration to internal applicants and shall guarantee said applicants an interview. Positions shall be posted for at least seven days internally before advertising externally.
