The Placement Services Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of Placement Services operation. This role supervises a multidisciplinary team including Account Managers, Career Coaches, and Retention Specialist to ensure seamless service delivery, strong job placement outcomes, and compliance with funder contractual requirements.

The Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining program performance by ensuring staff productivity, supporting employer engagement strategies, monitoring client progress, and driving successful job placement and retention outcomes.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee Placement Services workflow in alignment with PACE program requirements, including participant engagement and activity assignment, job readiness and career coaching, job development, job placement, and retention.
  • Ensure participants meet required activity hours and engagement standards as mandated by the funder.
  • Monitor and track daily attendance, participation, referrals to jobs, job placement.
  • Supervise and manage a team of Account Managers, Career Coaches, and Retention Specialist.
  • Conduct regular supervision, case conferencing, and performance reviews.
  • Enforce clear performance benchmarks tied to PACE outcomes, including: Weekly/monthly job placements, job retention milestone success, activity compliance and attendance. Conduct weekly or biweekly supervision with staff.
  • Support staff in managing escalated client situations, including conflict, non-compliance, and other barriers.
  • Attend job fairs, community outreach events, and networking functions to connect with employers, as needed.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accurate reporting to funder.
  • Oversee accurate and timely data entry in Zoho & Seams systems.
  • Ensure all case files include required documentation (resumes, job search logs, placements, verifications).
  • Hire and train Placement Services staff to ensure all functions run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with program leadership to support audits, reporting, and special projects.
  • Follow program guidelines and compliance standards related to workforce funding.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human services, public administration, or related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in workforce development, employment services, or job placement programs.
  • At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience is required.
  • Experience working within government-funded programs strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with underserved or public assistance populations preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts.
  • Knowledge of HRA policies, procedures, and performance benchmarks preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, or Creole languages a plus.

Position is full time onsite in Brooklyn.

Salary $72,000
