The Category Buyer will be responsible to lead day by day activities for ~20 suppliers from Iron Castings category. All suppliers are based @Brazil delivering to AGCO Factories @Mogi das Cruzes/SP, Canoas/RS, Ibiruba/RS and Santa Rosa/RS.
Direct responsibility of annual purchasing volume of ~15MUSD. This position aims to identify cost reductions, ensure supplier's good performance (cost, delivery, quality) and identify opportunities for resourcing and/or second source.
This position belongs to a global team of >10 team-members across the globe and has direct report to Global Category Manager responsible for Castings & Machined components. This position will play a key role in market-test analysis ensuring Long Term Agreements w/ strategic suppliers
