What you’ll do:
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting strategic sourcing activities for direct material categories such as compressors, motors, copper and cooling systems, balancing cost efficiency, risk management and operational requirements while ensuring compliance and regional requirements. In detail, you will:
Execute end-to-end sourcing activities for Direct Materials in Manaus, supporting cost competitiveness, supplier reliability and regulatory compliance;
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and contribute to the development and execution of category strategies aligned with business objectives;
Support contract negotiations and supplier discussions, identifying opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements and compliance with Zona Franca requirements;
Perform supplier analysis, market assessments and Total Cost of Ownership evaluations to support sourcing decisions;
Work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional areas to implement sourcing initiatives and continuous improvement actions.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI)
Who you are:
You have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields;
Experience in Procurement with exposure to Strategic Sourcing activities;
Experience supporting sourcing projects involving Direct Materials, Industrial Services or similar categories;
Experience in supplier negotiations and contract administration;
Knowledge of cost analysis methodologies, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO);
Advanced English is mandatory.
