Job Description

For the next season, we are looking for a Pizzaiolo/a to join the team at our Pool Grill Restaurant team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges.

He/she should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills. The primary objective is to provide a friendly, attentive, and timely service and to create an exceptional experience for all our guests.

He/She reports to Executive Chef.

Main Duties & Responsabilities

  • Preparation of high-quality pizza dough, understanding different fermentation processes and ingredients.
  • Selection and preparation of fresh, premium-quality ingredients and toppings.
  • Expert handling of traditional pizza ovens, ensuring perfect cooking consistency and crust.
  • Crafting a variety of classic and innovative pizzas, tailored to a luxury clientele.
  • Maintaining impeccable hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP) in your workstation.
  • Collaborating effectively with the culinary team to ensure seamless service flow.
  • Contributing to menu development with creative pizza concepts, in line with hotel standards.
  • Ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient pizza station at all times.

Requirements

  • A range of 3 -5 years of experience as a Pizzaiolo, preferably in luxury hotels or high-end restaurants;
  • Demonstrable expertise in traditional Italian pizza making, with a keen eye for detail and presentation;
  • A deep understanding of premium ingredients and their seasonality;
  • Ability to maintain exceptional quality and consistency in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously within a diverse team;
  • A range of 3 -5 years of experience as a Pizzaiolo, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting;
  • HACCP certification;
  • A professional demeanor, passion for hospitality, and a commitment to guest satisfaction;
  • Proficiency in Italian is required; English language skills are a significant advantage
