The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is searching for its next Pizzaiolo!
What are my responsibilities?
As a Pizzaiolo in our team, you bring fire, flavor and love for the craft. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will craft artisanal pizzas that celebrate quality ingredients and bold flavors. Your daily tasks include:
Preparing and baking pizzas in our wood-fired oven.
Mastering dough preparation, proofing and stretching techniques to ensure consistency.
Ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all baked products.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with hygiene and food safety standards.
Working collaboratively with the team to meet production schedules and guest demand.
Taking part in training sessions and applying new skills to continuously improve.
What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you bring passion for authentic pizza-making and a commitment to quality. You:
Have proven experience as a Pizzaiolo, Pizza Chef or in a similar role within a pizzeria, restaurant, or hotel.
Possess practical knowledge of dough fermentation, proofing, shaping, and wood-fired baking.
Have experience with traditional and modern pizza styles.
Work well in a team, taking guidance from the Head Chef and supporting your colleagues.
Are eager to learn and develop your craft through training and feedback.
Are flexible to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as required.
Eligible to work in the Netherland.
