JOB STATEMENT/PURPOSE:
Pizza Cook is to execute the vision/mission of Uncle Joe’s Pizza in their Uncle Joe’s Pizzeria. Key responsibility areas include food production, quality assurance, and 100% customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create an environment that consistently provides high levels of service to our guests.
- Maintain food quality standards approved by Uncle Joe’s Pizza.
- Maintain Uncle Joe’s Pizza standards of portion control and quality controls.
- Participate in dough production, ensuring all dough is weighed and portion controlled.
- Ensure that all areas of the kitchen/ prep area are clean and spotless.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary working area (Clean as you go).
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Municipal Food Worker Card.
- Prior pizza making experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Excellent job skills and attendance required.
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain production area cleanliness and appearance at all times.
- Clean as you go.
- Maintain proper stock rotations and efficient usage of product.
- Ensure all vendor deliveries are stocked and rotated (FIFO).
- Other tasks and duties based on the needs of the business
Compensation: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Uncle Joe's Pizzeria operates four Anchorage area locations today, the company was founded in 1993 in Alaska. Uncle Joe's serve hand tossed, stone-baked pizza and local craft brews.
