Summary:
The Pizza Chef will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our members and guests by preparing pizzas. This position involves preparing pizza menu items and using pizza ovens and equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include maintaining food quality and safety standards and ensuring timely and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pizza dishes, ensuring all meals are prepared according to recipes and specifications. Assist in the timeliness and organization of maintaining an organized and prepared workstation.
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all food safety and sanitation regulations are strictly adhered to, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications
- Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation, with a focus on high-volume service.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff and management.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Food Safety Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, with a valid food handler’s certification.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues quickly and efficiently during busy service
Education:
- Culinary degree preferred

Experience:
- 1-3 years of pizza-centric kitchen experience
- Prior private club experience a plus
Working Conditions:
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required
- Full time
