Wanaka Lakeview Holiday Park is looking for a passionate and reliable Pizza Chef to join our growing hospitality arm.

About the Role

As our Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high quality pizzas, maintaining excellent food safety standards, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. You will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while contributing to a positive and team focused workplace culture.

Working closely with the Park Manager and wider holiday park team, you will support daily food service operations, maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, and help ensure a seamless guest experience during both regular service and busy holiday periods.

Please note: This is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity offered through to April 2027.

What you’ll be doing

• Prepare and cook pizzas and related menu items to a consistently high standard.
• Prepare dough, sauces, toppings, and ingredients while maintaining quality and freshness.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with stock rotation, and minimise food wastage.
• Work collaboratively with front-of-house team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Support menu development and contribute ideas for seasonal specials and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking for

You’ll bring:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in a commercial kitchen, preferably preparing pizzas or similar menu offerings.
• A relevant cookery qualification or equivalent practical experience
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team focused culture.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand or eligibility to obtain the appropriate work visa.
