The role

The PIS Systems Engineer will play a key role in delivering mission-critical Passenger Information Systems (PIS) and Public Address (PA) solutions for large-scale transport and infrastructure projects This position offers hands-on exposure to complex, high-value deployments—from system design and integration to commissioning and final acceptance—while working alongside global stakeholders and advanced technologies.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end engineering of Passenger Information Systems (PIS), including design, installation, testing, and final acceptance
  • Ensure all system designs comply with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements
  • Manage deployment, commissioning, and validation of PIS and Public Address (PA) systems
  • Perform hardware installation, system configuration, and Power-On Self-Tests (POST)
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or issues
  • Conduct root cause analysis for system incidents and implement preventive measures
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across network, system, and application layers
  • Coordinate with international partners, vendors, and clients to align technical deliverables
  • Support testing, commissioning, and acceptance activities to meet project milestones
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and system manuals
  • Provide technical support for customer demonstrations and Proof-of-Concept (POC) initiatives
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and strong customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of deployed systems

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in Passenger Information Systems (PIS) and Public Address (PA/VA) systems implementation
  • Strong knowledge of system monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tuning
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems

Technical expertise in PA/VA Systems, including:

  • Public Address (PA) and Background Music (BGM) systems
  • Emergency Voice Alarm (EVA) systems
  • IP-based audio networks and line audio distribution

Audio Engineering Fundamentals:

  • Sound Pressure Level (SPL) calculations
  • Speaker selection and coverage design
  • Acoustic analysis and simulation tools

System Integration Knowledge:

  • Fire alarm system interface
  • Paging console integration
  • Redundancy and failover design

Hands-on experience in:

    • Installation of PA system equipment
    • Cable termination and testing
    • System commissioning and tuning
    • Troubleshooting speakers, amplifiers, and audio lines
    • Documentation and as-built preparation
    • Experience in ELV, audio, or communication systems environments
    • Strong communication and technical writing skills
    • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
    • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling field and project-based work
