The Piping Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of all activities related to the installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of piping systems for the LNG plant in Montoir, reporting to the Project Superintendent. The role involves supervising subcontractors and field crews, coordinating daily construction operations, monitoring productivity, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, quality requirements, and HSE standards, and supporting the achievement of project schedule milestones. The Piping Supervisor acts as the primary field representative for piping and insulation works, proactively resolving technical and construction issues, managing interfaces with other disciplines, and ensuring that the work is performed in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, applicable regulations, quality and safety standards, and established deadlines. Proven experience in cryogenic piping and supports, as well as pressure pressure testing, cleaning and drying, is required. This role could be occasionally involved in supervising steel structures erection.

Duties and responsibilities of the position:

• Supervision and Coordination: o Supervise and coordinate all piping and insulation activities, from material receiving to system commissioning, reporting to the Site Superintendent. Occasionally also responsible for supervising steel structures erection activities. o Ensure effective and fluid communication between all stakeholders. o Manage and resolve technical problems that may arise during project execution.

• Technical and Regulatory Compliance: o Verify that the work is performed in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, applicable rules and standards (e.g., ASME, PED, etc.). o Ensure compliance with the quality and safety requirements established in the project. o Review and approve procedures for the installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of piping systems. o Conduct periodic inspections and audits to verify compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.

• Experience in Cryogenic Piping and Supports: o Supervise and coordinate the installation and erection of cryogenic piping and supports, ensuring compliance with the specific requirements for this type of system. o Verify the correct selection of materials, welds, and insulation for cryogenic applications. o Ensure the integrity and proper functioning of cryogenic piping systems.

• Pressure Testing: o Plan, supervise, and coordinate pressure testing (hydrostatic) of piping systems, ensuring compliance with applicable procedures and regulations. o Verify the correct selection of equipment and tools for pressure testing. o Ensure the safety of personnel and facilities during pressure testing. o Analyze the results of the pressure tests and prepare the corresponding reports.

• Quality Management: o Implement and maintain a quality control system for piping activities. o Conduct quality inspections and tests at all stages of the process. o Prepare quality reports and follow up on non-conformities. o Ensure proper management of the project's technical documentation.

• Safety Management: o Ensure compliance with safety regulations in all piping-related activities. o Identify and assess the occupational hazards associated with the work. o Implement preventive measures to minimize risks and prevent accidents. o Conduct safety inspections on site and verify the correct use of personal protective equipment. o Participate in safety meetings and promote a safety culture on the project.

• Planning and Control: o Participate in the development of the work plan for piping activities. o Monitor the progress of the work and report any deviations to the project manager. o Identify and manage the risks and opportunities associated with piping activities. o Participate in the preparation of progress reports and presentations for the Client.

We are looking for a profile with the following requirements and competences:

-University degree in Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or equivalent.

-Minimum 10 years of experience in supervising and coordinating piping activities in industrial construction projects, preferably in LNG, petrochemical, or refinery plants.

-Proven experience in cryogenic piping and supports. Experience in pressure testing. Experience in supervising steel structures erection (desirable).

-English and French.

- Leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Problem-solving skills. Results-oriented. Attention to detail. Ability to work in a multicultural and demanding environment

-Professional certifications and related postgraduate degrees will be positively valued.
