Your Opportunity

Primero is currently recruiting for Piping Superintendents to join us on a $1Billion EPC Greenfields & Brownfields upgrade of a Gold Processing Plant. This would be on a 2:1 Roster to Kalgoorlie for 12+ Months.

Reporting to the Area Construction Manager, you will plan, direct and control all activities under your influence and ensure that these activities meet the safety, health, environmental, design, quality, completion, and production targets as set by the site leadership team

Your Key Responsibilities

• Proactively plan the works assigned to you on the project to ensure that the resources required to meet your primary purpose are adequate and fit for purpose.
• Ensure that all data requirements for robust projects and financial control are met consistently, completely and on a timely basis as directed by the site manager / project manager.
• Directly accountable for setting up the Supervision Team to ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe manner for persons working on the site including sub-contractor’s workforce and visitors
• In all dealings with Primero’s clients or prospective clients, develop relationships which maximise the likelihood of repeat or initial business opportunities.
• Liaise with client representatives or sub-contractors on technical and minor contractual issues.

What You ‘Can Do’

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience on Gold Processing Plants (preferred)
• Significant Piping Experience
• Strong planning of both Manning and Plant and Equipment.
• Strong ability to create and review SMP construction methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively and lead by example the firm’s personnel and their sub-contractors.
• Strong HSE understanding and implementation skills.
• Possess significant experience within Major Concrete Packages
