Job Description
Wood is currently looking for a Graduate Piping Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of engineering excellence through execution of assigned piping engineering tasks under close supervision.
Applies academic knowledge to assist in the development of piping deliverables, including layouts, specifications, calculations, and material requisitions, while gaining practical experience in engineering design and project execution

Engineering & Technical Delivery
- Assist in the preparation of piping deliverables such as drawings, isometrics, specifications, data sheets, and material take-offs
- Perform basic piping calculations (e.g., line sizing, pressure drop) under supervision
- Support development of piping layouts in line with project requirements and industry standards
- Assist in the specification and selection of piping components, valves, and materials
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and documentation
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Support senior piping engineers in more complex engineering tasks
- Carry out assigned tasks in accordance with company procedures, standards, and HSSE requirements
- Apply engineering principles and standard practices to solve routine technical problems
- Gain familiarity with piping codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.)
- Develop understanding of industry tools and engineering software
- Work effectively within project teams and across disciplines
- Communicate technical information clearly with team members and supervisors
- Begin developing awareness of client requirements and external stakeholders
