About the role
We're looking for a skilled Pipeline Operator Technician to join our Queensland Gas Pipeline (QGP) operations team.
In this hands-on role, you'll help operate and maintain critical gas transmission infrastructure, including pipelines, compressor stations, facilities, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
Working a 14 days on / 14 days off roster, you'll enjoy genuine work-life balance while building your expertise across a diverse asset base. We welcome FIFO, DIDO, and local candidates, with accommodation provided during rostered periods.
No two days are the same. You could be troubleshooting instrumentation faults, maintaining Solar turbines and gas-powered equipment, conducting inspections, supporting commissioning activities, responding to operational issues, or working alongside contractors and engineering teams to improve asset performance.
You'll join a small, experienced team responsible for maintaining the Queensland Gas Pipeline and associated facilities. With significant investment planned across the network, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to major asset renewal, reliability, and improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities include
Roster: 14 Days On / 14 Days Off | FIFO/DIDO role providing operational coverage across the Queensland Gas Pipeline. Accommodation is provided at our Rolleston and Moura bases during rostered periods. To support operational requirements, all employees, including local candidates, stay at the accommodation bases for the duration of their roster.
