Kennedy Jenks is seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial Pipeline Engineer to work in a hybrid work environment in one of our Texas locations: Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, or Austin, to support water and wastewater pipeline projects. A successful candidate will play a vital role in evaluating and supporting the design and construction of conveyance facilities relating to water, wastewater, recycled water, and utility infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pipeline design and analysis; conduct hydraulic and structural analysis and calculations of medium to large diameter water and wastewater pipelines.
• Prepare detailed design, specifications, and drawings. Pipeline design calculations with the support of the senior team.
• Provide technical support and expertise to multi-disciplinary project teams
• Write technical reports and maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation
• Project management; support projects from conception through construction, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or similar engineering field
• 5+ years of related engineering pipeline experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain PE
• Experience with pipeline design software and hydraulic modeling tools
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations
• Strong technical writing skills
