Vaughan Infrastructure is a leading civil
construction company delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across
Australia. Due to continued growth, we're seeking an experienced Pipelayer to
join our Brisbane team and play a key role in delivering a major civil
utilities contract across North Brisbane.

About the
Role

Reporting to the Site Supervisor/Foreman, you
will be responsible for the safe and accurate installation of underground
utility infrastructure. Working alongside a skilled civil construction team,
you'll contribute to the delivery of water, sewer and stormwater networks while
maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Key
Responsibilities

• Install sewer, stormwater and water reticulation infrastructure in
  accordance with project specifications and drawings.
• Lay and connect a range of pipe types and sizes, ensuring accuracy
  and quality workmanship.
• Read and interpret construction plans, levels and set-out
  information.
• Work safely around excavations, plant and underground services.
• Assist with trench preparation, pipe bedding, backfilling and
  testing activities.
• Operate small plant and equipment where appropriately licensed and
  competent.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Work collaboratively with Supervisors, Foremen and fellow crew
  members to achieve project milestones.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Proven experience as a Pipelayer within the civil construction
  industry.
• Strong knowledge of sewer, stormwater and water main installation.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and
  specifications.
• A strong understanding of safe excavation and underground service
  installation practices.
• Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive, reliable work ethic.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality and productivity.
