Position Overview

As a Pipefitter Lead, you’ll be a hands-on leader, guiding a crew to deliver exceptional work in pipefitting and related trades. Your expertise will set the standard for quality and efficiency, as you actively work alongside your team to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Mentor: Communicate instructions clearly, assign tasks, and work alongside your crew to set the pace and demonstrate proper techniques.
  • Resource Management: Ensure plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available and organized for efficient workflow.
  • Problem-Solving: Address issues promptly by obtaining decisions from supervisors and providing guidance to team members.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor work progress and verify compliance with specifications, deadlines, and safety standards.
  • Safety Leadership: Enforce safety and housekeeping rules at all times.
  • Reporting: Provide updates to superintendents and project managers on progress, delays, and operational challenges.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of verifiable pipefitting experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of piping blueprints, specifications, codes, and plumbing systems.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • Project Management: Skilled in scheduling and meeting deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to precision and quality in all work.

*OSHA-30 certification is required. If you currently do not possess an OSHA-30, we will give you the opportunity to take the course prior to your employment.*
