Professional Placement Services is seeking experience Pipefitters for our fabrication shop in the East Valley. This is a full-time, permanent, direct hire position with huge OT availability and great benefits!

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements
• Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors, and ceilings using hand or power tools
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
• Test system for leaks using testing equipmentClean and maintain pipe units and fittings, and flush systems
• Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems using hand and power tools
• Install pipe systems on board vessels in a safe and productive mannerSafely rig equipment following all OSHA requirements
• Inspect work, identify potential problems, and initiate corrective action
• Ensure correct work procedures are adhered to
• Perform TIG welding tacking on fits

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Pipefitter and TIG Welder
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety and following OSHA guidelines
• Certified in TIG welding for pipe applications or 6G Certification preferred
