Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity available for a Pipe Support Detailer to be an integral part of our team. This position is a permanent project supporting Epic Piping. The selected individual will be employed and paid by a third party.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Produce detailed fabrication drawings, including support fabrication details.
• Generate reports necessary to support estimating, material buyout, fabrication, QA, and field productivity tracking. These may include bills of material, quantity takeoffs, cut lists, weld lists, and system reports.
• Assist in the generation of work packages and drawing document control tracking.
• Familiarity with client project scope and specifications.
• Prepare detail drawing in ACAD application.
• Check pipe support drawings used for fabrication by shop against client drawings, scope, and specifications for accuracy and manufacturability, mark-up errors, and re-check corrections made by drafter before being released to shop for fabrication.
• Familiar with and utilize department standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Understand shop methods used in the fabrication of pipe support.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Minimum of 1 year in Pipe Support Detail Engineering.
• Academic Education to ITI - Mechanical Drafting / Diploma Level in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fluency in English is Mandatory.
• Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Self Motivated - Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one’s ability using his or her own drive or initiative.
• Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
• Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
• Organized - Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
• Reliability - The trait of being dependable and trustworthy.
• Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
• Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrated competence with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and 3D piping fabrication software.
• Working knowledge Autospool is preferred.
