Job Location: McClung Management Legal Address (K1) - Kilgore, TX 75662Position Overview:
Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports and related equipment for compressor units.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Fit process and water piping to Engineering specifications
- Support a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible
- Adhere to company policy, procedures, and rules
- Adhere to safety requirements by wearing appropriate protective gear
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet plant requirement
- Need minimal instructions of pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings and isometric pipe drawings
- Familiarity with manufacturing/fabrication processes and design
- Ability to read and use a tape measure in US units (not metric)
- Ability to read and use a level
- Ability to use two-hole pins
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
- Welding knowledge such as GMAW/MIG hard-wire
- Knowledge of pipe fit measurements, accounting for draw, proper gapping, proper beveling, and ability to build pipe spools to print
- Previous pipe fitting experience preferred
- Competency test: Cut and bevel a piece of piping and tack it to a fitting
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use ladder daily
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related distribution documents
Working Conditions
- Subject to outdoor and plant environment with adjusting temperatures and climate
Upon Employment:
- Complete a Safety overview from the EHS & Facilities Manager
- Complete a Quality overview from the Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Manager
