Job Location: Bulk and Pipe Crew - Shreveport, LA 71107Red Ball Oxygen Co., Inc. is a privately owned distributor of Industrial, Specialty, and Medical Gases, welding and industrial equipment, and safety supplies. We have 22 retail operations in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma with packaged gas production capabilities in Shreveport, LA, Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, Houston, TX, and Geismar, LA. We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, detailed oriented Gas Piping Installer to join our team!
Red Ball Oxygen is looking for a skilled Cryogenic Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems across multiple sites, including but not limited to: Fabrication shops, Manufacturing facilities, power plants, refineries, laboratories, universities, hospitals, and Red Ball Oxygen locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install piping systems for gas applications, working on both entry-level and advanced projects.
- Provide technical solutions and support to customers and the sales team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues at customer sites.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company initiatives.
- Collaborate with local sales personnel and other team members.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills.
- Ability to communicate, work under pressure, and in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel at least 60% of the year.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during heavy project periods.
- Be available for on-call support as needed.
