Fixed-Term Project Opportunity | 9 Months with option to extend

Shape the Future of Veterinary Practice Management

Here at Greencross Pet Wellness Company, we're embarking on a significant transformation project and are looking for a PIMS Pricing & Bundle Configuration Specialist to play a critical role in the implementation of our new Practice Information Management System (PIMS) across Specialty, Emergency and General Practice veterinary hospitals.

This is a unique opportunity to combine your systems, configuration and problem-solving expertise with a large-scale business transformation program. You'll be responsible for translating approved clinical, billing and pricing requirements into accurate, tested and scalable Vetera system configurations, helping to build the foundation for how our hospitals operate into the future.

Working closely with project teams, clinical stakeholders, operations and finance teams, you'll ensure that configuration is delivered accurately, documented thoroughly and deployed successfully across multiple hospital locations.

About the Role

As the PIMS Pricing & Bundle Configuration Specialist, you will own the hands-on system configuration and build of clinical services, procedures, bundles, packages and billing structures within Vetera. You'll work hospital-by-hospital to establish a consistent, scalable solution while accommodating approved local requirements and pricing structures where needed.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical configuration with business process understanding and has a strong eye for detail, governance and system accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Translate approved clinical, billing and pricing requirements into detailed Vetera build specifications and system configurations.
  • Configure clinical services, procedures, bundles and packages within agreed project timelines.
  • Build and maintain billing rules, mandatory inclusions, exclusions, linked charges and optional service components.
  • Configure pricing methodologies, including fixed, minimum and calculated pricing models.
  • Map legacy RxWorks records and codes to future-state Vetera structures.
  • Maintain configuration records, master catalogues, mapping documentation and decision logs.
  • Conduct unit testing, workflow testing and end-to-end invoice validation to ensure system accuracy.
  • Support pilot sites, cutover activities and go-live deployment.
  • Partner with project stakeholders to identify and resolve configuration issues while maintaining approved business and clinical requirements.
  • Prepare reusable templates and documentation to support future hospital implementations.

About You

We're looking for someone who can confidently bridge the gap between business requirements and system configuration.

You will bring:

  • Experience configuring a PIMS, healthcare application, practice management system, ERP platform or similar enterprise software solution.
  • Strong understanding of service catalogues, billing structures, pricing methodologies and data mapping concepts.
  • The ability to translate business requirements into accurate system configurations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience testing workflows, troubleshooting issues and validating system outcomes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A structured approach to documentation, version control and change management.

Highly Regarded

  • Veterinary industry experience
  • Experience working with Vetera
  • Exposure to Specialty and Emergency veterinary workflows
  • Experience supporting software implementation or transformation projects. (Inferred from the project nature of the role.)

Why Join Us?

This is more than a system configuration role. It's an opportunity to contribute to a major transformation initiative that will influence how veterinary teams deliver care and operate across multiple locations.

You'll enjoy:

  • A high-impact project role with meaningful business outcomes
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements
  • Collaboration with clinical, operational and technology stakeholders
  • Exposure to large-scale systems implementation and transformation
  • The opportunity to help shape future-state processes and system standards
  • A supportive environment that values innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement
