Our client, a dynamic, innovative and growing Food Tech Company is seeking a Pilot Plant manager for their San Francisco location.

The Pilot Plant Manager will be responsible for the following
?be the subject matter expert for all pilot and labs tests with 3rd party partners.
?work side by side with Chefs, Food Scientists and Product Developers in order to drive the top line, the efficiencies as well as uniquity of all products
?Organize all Pilot and Labs activities in the daily basis as well as yearly planning.
?Be accountable for the Pilot and Labs facilities: Authorization to operate, Maintenance, Team trainings and People Safety.
?be responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining talent for the R&D Pilot and Labs Team
?Bring product development expertise through his / her own experience as well as from suppliers, to ensure successful industrialization and launches that meet the requirements of the project brief.
Key Qualifications
?5 or more years of progressive R&D experience in Pilot Plants for plant-based food products.
?Bachelor’s degree in food engineering, food science or a similar discipline.
?experience in working with Pilot and Labs vendors and co-manufacturers.
Compensation is based on experience!
