Opportunity Overview

Teradyne is seeking an experienced Pilot Line Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the New Products Introduction department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-speed digital ATE technologies. As a subject matter expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our projects by driving issues, influencing outcomes, mentoring junior staff, and providing insights throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Participate in all phases of the design cycle providing feedback enabling long-term manufacturing processes. Report product, Hardware, Software, process and MFG bugs and track to RC and CA.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with Project Deliverables, offering proactive solutions to enhance project success. Engineering EAS support and product data collection support.
  • Execute and continuously improve processes to achieve product and process stability.
  • Work collaboratively with all engineering disciplines to ensure successful project launch of high yielding and reliable ATE instrumentation.
  • Provide data and evidence to assess the stability of hardware, software, and processes, facilitating effective decision-making.
  • Document test process and train CM and GCS users.

Minimum job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Ability to analyze and present data efficiently during Pilot Line Dayli status, FRACAs meeting and FRB meetings.
  • Deep understanding of ATE or measurement system fundamentals. IGXL and EST SW knowledge preferably.
  • Knowledge of design and reliability processes
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex ATE or measurement systems to component level.
  • Excellent English communication skills, in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects in various stages of release.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and drive issues to resolution.
  • Ability to track product yield and Corrective actions using EMS systems. (opcenter)
