Job Description

A Day in Your Life at MKS Atotech:

As Pilot Line Engineer, you will focus on operating pilot lines and performing sample plating, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and product testing. It ensures safe, compliant, and high‑quality operations while supporting customer projects, new product testing and collaborating with business, sales, and application teams. Candidates should bring technical experience in electroplating and/or wet processes, strong teamwork and problem‑solving skills, and good English for global communication.

Location: Samut Prakan

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Operations of Pilot Lines & Sample Plating
  • Responsible for the daily equipment handling, chemistry application, new product testing and customers sampling work.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment and keep pilot lines and facilities in optimal condition
  • Safety, Compliance & Quality
  • Follow the company EHS policies and regulations. Ensure that all activities are completed safely and in accordance with laws, regulations and company’s quality standards.
  • Customer & Business Support
  • Collaborate with Business and Sales Teams to conduct alpha sites, business unit initiatives, and customer sampling projects.
  • Providing “Best Local Service” to external and internal customers and supporting new product development.
  • Collaborate with application and R&D team members and sales colleagues in troubleshooting if necessary.
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Prepare sample plating reports for internal and external customers.
  • Additional tasks can be assigned by supervisor.

Skills You Bring:

  • Education & Major
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Surface Treatment, or related fields.
  • Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in chemical or related industries, electroplating industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electroplating chemicals, surface treatment technologies, wet processes, pilot line operations and related wastewater handling
  • Familiarity with ISO documentation and corresponding management systems.
  • Experience in equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Competency
  • Excellent work and safety ethics, professionalism, and strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Holistic view and ability to work effectively as a team player.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and SAP system.
  • Language Skills
  • Fluent local language and good English (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) for effective communication with global teams. Mandarin is a plus for communication with Chinese customers
