If you have a passion for teaching/ experience playing pickleball, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has an amazing role for you as a Pickleball Instructor. This is a part-time role at Miller community Center.
ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities. The Pickleball Instructor at Miller Community Center will lead participants through a variety of pickleball techniques and drills to learn the basics and improve there skill level. Program objectives are to learn new techniques, encourage fitness and healthy lifestyles.
Scheduled available classes:
- Pickleball skills and Drills: Fridays 10:00 AM-12:30 PM (paid cleanup and set up as needed)

- 9/19/2025
Pickleball Instructor job roles & responsibilities include
- Develop and deliver developmentally appropriate pickleball lessons and activities for each pickleball class. Instructors are expected to plan class curriculum.
- Plan, lead, and implement course appropriate activities for each pickleball class
- Instructors are expected to set up and clean up the space before and after each weekly lesson.
- Complete required administrative reports, such as attendance logs and incident reports.
Pickleball Instructor requirements include:
- Over 18 years of age
- Passion for teaching/ playing Pickleball.
- If hired, must pass criminal background check
- If hired, must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid photo ID
Pay Rate:
- $24.50-$26.50
