Job Description

The Pickleball Desk Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service at the pickleball facilities, as well as ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests. S/he will register guests for pickleball courts, lessons and clinics. The Pickleball Hut Attendant will assist in maintaining the AAA Four Diamond Standards.

The Pickleball Desk Attendant will always conduct themselves in a manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. Responsibilities

  • Greets and welcomes guests and members upon arrival
  • Maintains positive relationships with members and guests
  • Schedules guests and members for pickleball courts, clinics or lessons
  • Explains pickleball facilities, programs, services and equipment to guests and members
  • Handles payment transactions for pickleball operations and ensures accuracy
  • Maintains strong knowledge of Pickleball Hut merchandise products and pricing
  • Responsible for answering guest questions regarding pickleball operations, membership and retail
  • Answers Pickleball Hut phone line and directs calls appropriately
  • Assists in maintenance and upkeep of pickleball courts and surrounding areas
  • Up sells other resort services and amenities to guests
  • Provides general resort information to guests

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • One year of customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the game of pickleball preferred

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

  • Must have their OLCC License
  • Must always ensure a teamwork environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Must be able to stand on feet and walk throughout the day, including some on uneven surfaces
  • Must be able to lift & carry up to 25 lbs on an occasional basis
