V.Ships Leisure is looking for Pianist on behalf of Orient Express Sailing Yachts. As a Pianist, you will deliver refined, immersive live music experiences that reflect the highest standards of ultra-luxury hospitality. You are a versatile, multi-disciplinary performer, able to adapt seamlessly across settings, moods, and guest expectations. From intimate lounge sets to featured performances, you shape each environment with precision, sensitivity, and artistry. Working closely with the Program Manager, you will help curate bespoke musical journeys for each voyage and private charter.
Key Responsibilities
Perform regularly across lounges, decks, theatre spaces, and studio environment
Deliver multi-disciplinary performances across a minimum of two musical disciplines
Maintain a high-quality, genre-spanning repertoire with a foundation in jazz
Read and respond to the atmosphere, adjusting performance accordingly
Collaborate on themed programming and bespoke charter experiences
Develop and deliver a signature Cabaret Theatre show in collaboration with the Program Manager
Provide private tuition and lead workshops for guests
Participate in collaborative sessions with guests and visiting artists
Interact confidently and professionally with guests at all times
Fulfil assigned safety duties and participate in all drills
Support the Program Manager in delivering successful programming and operations
Rehearse and continuously refine performance quality
Work closely with technical teams for seamless delivery
Adapt to last-minute changes with flexibility and composure
Uphold the highest standards of presentation and professionalism
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
Proven experience as a professional musician in luxury, cruise, hotel, or high-end live environments.
Strong vocal ability to a professional standard.
Proficiency in at least two musical disciplines.
Experience across multiple genres, with jazz knowledge essential.
Experience delivering both ambient and featured performances.
Experience in teaching, coaching, or leading workshops preferred.
Ability to perform solo and adapt arrangements independently.
Exceptional musicianship and vocal quality.
