Harbison is a charitable, community-owned, not-for-profit organisation that provides residential and non-residential care and support services for aged or disabled people, including a range of support services and systems to assist aged and disabled people to achieve maximum independence and integration within a residential or community setting, education and training of professionals and other care providers, and activities which are incidental or conducive to these objectives.
Currently, Harbison is an approved aged care provider, registered NDIS provider, approved childcare provider, retirement village owner, and one of the largest employers in the Southern Highlands. Harbison is governed by a Board of Directors which appoints a Chief Executive Officer who is delegated with day-to-day responsibility for the organisation.
About the role
As a Physiotherapist, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy services to older people living in residential aged care, helping them maintain their independence, mobility, and quality of life through a reablement-focused approach. In this role, you will complete functional assessments, deliver rehabilitation programs, support falls prevention, and provide education to residents and care staff. You'll work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists, an exercise physiologist, and allied health assistants. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working beyond routine assessments and exercise programs, with opportunities to contribute to research, quality improvement, and the development of innovative models of care.
