Intrinsic Health is looking to welcome a Physiotherapist to join our growing and supportive Aged Care team in Currumbin Waters on the southern Gold Coast.

This is a part-time role with an immediate start available, currently including 2 days per week on-site within Residential Aged Care, with the opportunity to expand into community and in-home Physiotherapy work for clinicians looking for additional variety and caseload growth.

What’s involved in this role?

• Chronic disease and injury management
• Manual handling and functional assessments
• Initial assessments and clinical referrals
• Falls prevention, risk management, and education
• Equipment prescription
• Exercise programs and reablement services
• Attending clinical meetings and case conferences
• Being part of an experienced multidisciplinary team within residential aged care
• Opportunity to build community and in-home caseloads if desired

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy
• Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency General registration (new graduates welcome)
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
• Valid National Police Check, or willingness to obtain
• Current flu and COVID vaccination evidence
• Working rights in Australia (sponsorship considered for candidates already living in Australia)
• Medicare Provider Number, or willingness to obtain
