Insight Health Solutions (IHS) provides third-party health services to a variety of sectors. Fully part of THP, IHS works closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality, expedited assessment, treatment and diagnostic services.

Key Qualifications:
BScPT or MScPT or equivalent - required
Registration with Ontario College of Physiotherapists- required
Membership with the Ontario Physiotherapy Association/Canadian Physiotherapy Association is preferred
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in treating a variety of MSK injuries and conditions in an ambulatory care setting – both surgical and non-surgical - preferred
Previous experience in the areas of clinical musculoskeletal dysfunction, completion of FAEs, work/functional evaluation, work conditioning/ hardening and return to work strategies – preferred
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, time management, organizational skills and communication skills – including report writing skills
Demonstrates the ability to work on a dynamic, inter-disciplinary team and with community partners as well as the ability to adapt to changing operational and patient care needs
Demonstrates effective communication skills, excellent organizational skills and can be self-directed in a fast-paced working environment
Commitment to exceptional client centered care and continuous learning
Previous experience and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with Physiotherapy Assistants
Experience as liaison with third party providers such as WSIB and Insurance providers is an asset
Experience conducting work simulation programs is an asset
Could be performing assessments or treatments
Interdisciplinary assessment and treatment of clients with musculoskeletal disorders, referred to by third-party payers (e.g. WSIB, employers, insurers etc.)
Supervision of PTA
Work as part of an interdisciplinary team model provided evidence based, outcome-oriented care and recommendations
Provides therapy services in keeping with the respective College guidelines and standards of practice
Participates in continuous quality improvement and evaluation.
Participates in program planning, continuous quality improvement and evaluation, thereby contributing to the overall vision/mandate of Trillium Health Centre and Physiotherapy Practice
Supervision of students as required
