Job Description

Proactive Health is a national ecosystem of over 40 allied health businesses across 450+ locations in Australia. We unite independent clinic owners under a shared commitment to clinical excellence — providing the governance, development infrastructure, and operational support of a large network while preserving the personalised, community-driven care that smaller practices do best.

Our clinics operate as genuine multidisciplinary teams. Physiotherapists work alongside exercise physiologists, podiatrists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and social workers — not just sharing a building, but actively coordinating care and learning from each other every day.

We service clients across DVA, Medicare (EPC), NDIS, Home Care Packages, private health, and workers' compensation — giving our physiotherapists a broad and varied caseload that challenges and grows their clinical expertise.

About This Clinic — Mount Barker

Mount Barker is the major hub of the Adelaide Hills — a charming town roughly thirty minutes from the Adelaide CBD, surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, and some of South Australia's best produce regions. It's one of the fastest-growing areas in the state, attracting families and professionals who want the lifestyle benefits of the Hills with easy access to the city.

The clinic services Mount Barker, Hahndorf, Nairne, Littlehampton, and the broader Adelaide Hills region. Your caseload will span musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports injuries, post-operative recovery, DVA veterans, NDIS participants, and aged care clients. The Hills community is active and health-conscious, which means strong demand for physiotherapy services and clients who are genuinely engaged in their recovery.

Jo Carman leads this clinic and has built a team culture that's warm, professional, and deeply committed to clinical excellence. Jo is focused on ensuring clinicians have the support, variety, and professional development they need to thrive — not just survive. Mount Barker offers a lifestyle that's hard to replicate — weekend farmers' markets, bushwalking trails, cooler summers, and a genuine sense of community. For a physio who wants high-quality clinical work in a setting that enhances your life outside of work, this is one of the most attractive roles in the network.
