As a Physiotherapist, you are responsible for the assessment of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems and the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of an injury or pain The goal is to develop, maintain, rehabilitate, or augment function and promote mobility. Care will take place within a residential or institutional setting with referrals generated by a variety of sources. Client groups receiving treatment may include pediatrics for in home or school services and/or adults with medical/health concerns.

What you’ll do
Conduct initial client assessments, identification of problems, and establishment of goals and treatment plans
Develop client-centered plans with clients, inter-professional team and other stakeholders
Engage clients using a collaborative approach, build rapport and trust, and achieve a mutual understanding and agreement related to the services to be provided
Maintain professional client records related to client encounters and plans
Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of government agencies, healthcare workers, and other community resources
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Willingness to travel to and from client’s residences within a designated area
Valid driver license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from patient’s residences within a geographical area
