Physiotherapist | Inpatient | Physiotherapy Department | Bushey | Greater London | Spire Bushey Hospital | Private Hospital | 37.5hrs per week

Spire Bushey Hospital have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inpatient Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent contract for full time hours.

Spire Bushey Hospital forms part of a 4 site portfolio, and is supported by and works alongside Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre, Elstree Cancer Centre and Spire Pathology Centre – based on Centennial Park in Elstree - just 5 minutes from the main hospital site.

Duties and responsibilities

To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within the inpatient and outpatient department.

  • To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner
  • To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and caseload management
  • Significant experience in physiotherapy delivery and working as a multidisciplinary team
  • Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) or equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ post graduate clinical experience within different areas such as MSK, Orthopaedics and Surgery
  • Flexibility to cover different areas on a rotational basis
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience of assessing, diagnosing and treating a range of patients/cases
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills are key to continue our high standards of patient care

Who we're looking for

  • Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
  • Experience of assessing diagnosing and treating a range of patients/cases
  • At least 3 years Hospital (NHS or Private) experience is essential for this role – post graduate experience
  • Experience working with multi disciplinary teams
  • Evidence of applying effective clinical reasoning strategies to complex cases with supervision
  • Post graduate experience as a Physiotherapist across a range of specialties Experience of independently managing/prioritising case loads
  • Trained on MS Office and other relevant packages
  • Possess Equipment and Medical Devices and any additional competences relevant to job role.
  • Possess the Mandatory Training inc Infection Control competences and health and safety
  • Evidence of continual professional development
  • English language to IELTS 7.0 D Root cause analysis
