Physiotherapist – North York, ON

SEMI, now proudly part of CBI Health, is one of Toronto’s premier sports medicine and physiotherapy clinics. Our team consists of licensed medical and health professionals with a variety of specializations. Working alongside sports medicine Physicians, we provide physiotherapy and physical rehabilitation services as well as chiropody, massage therapy, acupuncture and sports medicine. We conveniently offer all treatments and therapies our patients need to recover from any injury, under one roof.

Our clinic is conveniently located at Yonge & Sheppard with direct access to the TTC and Highway 401.

About this opportunity

We are looking for a fun, dynamic and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at SEMI! This is a part-time position starting at two days per week with the potential to grow to a full-time caseload as you build your practice as part of our interdisciplinary team.

Fee split range

  • 40%–45% on an employee model, or
  • 42%–50% on an independent contractor model

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

  • Work with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, directed towards maintaining and enhancing their physical abilities, lifestyle and well-being

  • Be responsible for managing and prioritizing clinical caseloads, and for the coordination and delivery of therapeutic services

  • Participate in a collaborative care model providing holistic, comprehensive care to meet the needs of clients

  • Promote positive relationships between clients, team members, funders and the community

What you need to be successful

  • Fully registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

  • At least 1–2 years of experience as a Physiotherapist is preferred

  • Experience working in a manual and exercise-driven clinic

  • Comfortable treating sports and orthopaedic injuries

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to manage a caseload of 10–14 patients per day

  • Works well within a team environment

  • Interest in pursuing manual therapy
