Job Title: Physiology - Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor

Department : Physiology

SHORT DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor of Physiology to join IMC Medical College in Jeddah - Saudi Arabia.

In this role, you will contribute to the academic mission through teaching, research, and service, fostering an engaging learning environment for the students in the medical and health sciences disciplines

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrating leadership in academic planning, research excellence, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and digital education.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction in physiology courses, utilizing innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance student learning.
  • Develop and implement course syllabi, assessments, and instructional materials that align with the curriculum.
  • Conduct and publish impactful research in physiology and related fields, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge
  • Mentor and advise students, providing guidance on academic and career development.
  • Collaborate with faculty across disciplines to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities, contributing to the academic community.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Ph.D. Degree from a university recognized by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Education (MOE) in related field or equivalent - Essential.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) to eight (8) years of teaching experience in higher education and involvement in academic research. - Essential.

Language

  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.

References

  • Positive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.
