• Based at Thomas Embling Hospital | May be required to work at other sites from time to time

About the Role:
Join a specialist forensic mental health service as a Physio and Exercise Therapies Coordinator, combining clinical practice with leadership. You will deliver and coordinate physiotherapy and movement-based programs that support recovery, improve physical health, and enhance functional outcomes. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will embed physical health into holistic, person-centred care while contributing to service development and quality improvement.
 Key Duties:
• Deliver advanced physiotherapy assessment and intervention.
• Design and run individual and group exercise programs.
• Integrate physiotherapy into multidisciplinary care planning.
• Lead program coordination and service improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and support staff and students.
• Promote physical health, consumer engagement, and safe practice.
About You:
You are an experienced physiotherapist with strong clinical and leadership capability, able to work collaboratively in complex environments. You bring excellent communication skills, a passion for recovery-oriented care, and experience delivering and leading physiotherapy programs.
Qualifications, knowledge and experience:
• Physiotherapy qualification with AHPRA registration
• Experience in complex clinical settings (mental health desirable)
• Strong assessment, program design, and clinical decision-making skills
• Understanding of recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practice
• Ability to contribute to quality improvement and multidisciplinary care.
