Job Description

Providing high-quality instruction in Physics across Grades 9 to 12 (CBSE), ensuring academic excellence, conceptual understanding, scientific inquiry, and outstanding student outcomes.

Driving Teaching & Learning excellence through effective curriculum delivery, differentiated instruction, assessment practices, practical application of scientific concepts, and integration of innovative teaching methodologies.

Supporting student achievement, board examination success, future readiness, and holistic development through academic mentoring, data-driven interventions, and collaborative engagement with students, parents, and colleagues.

Providing academic and operational support in curriculum implementation, assessment and reporting, laboratory management, student enrichment programmes, and continuous school improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Planning & Implementation

Deliver the CBSE Physics curriculum effectively.

Plan lessons and ensure curriculum coverage.

Deliver engaging and student-centred lessons.

Assess, monitor, and support student learning.

Prepare students for assessments and Board examinations.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Master's Degree in Physics; B.Ed. mandatory.
• 3+ years of experience teaching Physics in CBSE schools, preferably Grades 9-12.
• Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum, assessment framework, and Board Examination requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in planning and delivering engaging Physics lessons.
• Ability to drive student achievement through effective instructional and assessment practices.
• Experience conducting laboratory practicals and promoting scientific inquiry-based learning.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Professional, ethical, and student-centred approach to teaching and learning.
