The John Carroll School, a Catholic, independent, college-preparatory, coeducational high school established in 1964 and located on 72 acres in Bel Air, Maryland, is currently seeking a full-time, 10-month Science teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
The John Carroll School seeks a qualified Science teacher for full-time employment. Candidates should possess a passion for teaching and be able to collaborate with colleagues to ensure that different sections of the same course progress at the same pace. Successful candidates will have a proven record of teaching physics to high school students and the ability to differentiate instruction.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide continuity by promoting student success and growth in both academic and interpersonal skills through instruction. It is important to create a safe and optimal learning environment in which student progress is documented, individual needs are addressed, and effective communication with students, parents, administration, faculty, and staff is maintained. As a representative of The John Carroll School, the employee is expected to support and carry out the school’s Catholic mission.
Pay Range $50,000 – 70,000, Annualized
